The Clare fire service have dealt with an unusual callout.

Fire personnel were called to Ennis General Hospital on Monday night, where their assistance was required to help medics remove a ring from an injured man's finger.
The man, reported to be a college student, is understood to have been injured while he was climbing a fence to retrieve a ball.
