There was good news for Arsenal fans ahead of Saturdays meeting with Manchester United last night as Alexis Sanchez showed no sign of a recent hamstring injury scoring twice in Chile's 3-1 win over Uruguay.
Sanchez defied Arsene Wenger's wishes to feature in the World cup qualifier lasting 84 minutes before being subbed, the 27 year old played with heavy strapping on his thigh.
Arsenal are currently 4th in the league six points ahead of 6th placed Manchester United and 2 behind leaders Liverpool.
Wayne Rooney is expected to be fit for that game on Saturday.
The forward didn't feature in England's draw with Spain last night due to a knee injury.
