The Senior men’s title in the Ennistymon Hurling Club and The Sergio O’ Connor Trust Fund 5k fun run and walk in Ennistymon today went to James Sexton, Kilmurray Ibrickane, North Clare
Also in the men’s senior race Joe Cross of Ennistymon took second place, followed by Brian Cummins of Ennis, while fourth and fifth positions went to Patrick O Rourke and Padraig Malone of Kilmurray Ibrickane, North Clare.
In the Ladies title – Sinead Hogan of Kilmurray Ibrickane took first place while second place also went to a member of the North Clare Club-Caoimhe Hogan while the club also took 3rd and 4th position with 5th place going to Susan Taylor of Saint Cronin’s.

Michael Shannon won the title race in the Michael Sonny Murphy 10 mile road race in Kilnaboy on Easter Sunday
Michael who completed the run in a time of 52 mins and 36 seconds is the first Kilnaboy athlete to win the title in its 28 year history.
Julio Cesar of Kilmurray IB-North Clare finished 2nd and Cathal O’Connell of St. Finbarr’s, Cork was 3rd.
Angela McCann of Clonmel won the ladies title in a time of 60 min 16 sec followed by Barbara Sanchez of Raheny Shamrock and Sharon Rynne of Kilmurray IB-North Clare crossed the finishing line in 3rd place.
