Ballyea And Glen Rovers Prepare For Munster Club Final Clash

Glen Rovers clubman and three time All Ireland winner with Cork Tomas Mulcahy says it's a huge boost for the club to be back contesting a Munster Club Hurling Final.

The Cork champions will face Clare champions Ballyea in Sunday's decider as they look to win the title for the fourth time in their history.

It's their first appearance in the final since they last won the title in 1976, while no Cork club has won the Munster crown since 2009.

Mulcahy says that's not something the Glen should concern themselves with ahead of this weekend.

Meanwhile former U21 All Ireland winning captain Paul Flanagan says the experience in the squad means they won't be over-awed by the occasion on Sunday.

Several of the Ballyea side that will line out in Thurles have U21 and senior All Ireland medals to their name, while 4 of the squad were also involved in Clare's Division Three Football League Final success.

Flanagan says they will remain focused on the job they have to do
