Spancilhilltrainer Noel Glynn is now virtually certain to bring his charge, Becauseicouldntsee, to Aintree for next month’s Grand National.
59 horses remain declared for the race following yesterday’s scratchings stage, though only forty of these will run in the race on April 14th.

However, with handicapper Phil Smith declaring that Becauseicouldntsee will carry 10 stone 3 in the race, this means that Glynn does not have to rely on further withdrawals to ensure that he returns to tackle the National fences this year.
In recent days, Glynn has been quoted as saying that he would like Nina Carberry to take the ride at the Liverpool track, though Davy Condon is likely to be on board if she is unavailable.
