Clare man Chris Bryan has missed out on Olympic qualification after finishing just outside of the top nine at the final qualifying event in Portugal today.

The Shannon man was in 22nd heading into the final lap but in a very crowded field of swimmers he could not gain on the leaders and finished in 15th place.
