Croke Park has released the inter-counties fixtures calendar for 2012, which firms up the dates for Clare’s opening games in the League and Championship.
As expected, the county’s footballers begin their National League Division 4 Campaign at home to Waterford on February 5th, while the hurlers first game is away to Limerick on Saturday February 25th.

Meanwhile, the county’s footballers first Championship outing is a Munster semi-final against Waterford or Limerick – if the Deise are the opponents, then that game will be held at Cusack Park – while the hurlers’ first Championship outing under Davy Fitzgerald will be held on June 17th against Waterford, though no venue has been confirmed.
