Clare are out of this year’s All Ireland championship after a 4-25 to 0-20 loss to Galway this evening in Salthill.
Damien Hayes, Ger Farragher and Joe Canning all grabbed goals in the first half as Galway built up a 3-13 to 0-12 interval lead.

Clare briefly rallied at the start of the second half but had James Mc inerney sent off for a tackle on Joe Canning and the Tribesmen sealed the win with a fourth from Alan Kerins.
Earlier Limerick beat Wexford by 1-22 to 2-13 to book their place in the next round.
