Three Clare competitors and one coach from the county will travel to New Zealand today for the World Taekwon-Do Championships, which get underway next Wednesday.

Jamie Williams from the Shannon club will take part in the competition as a junior, while clubmate Louise McCagh and Stephen Ryan of the Quin Taekwon-Do club will compete as seniors.
The three Clare athletes form part of the Irish team of 16 athletes, which will be coached by Shannon based Adrian Byrne.
