The Clare Cumann na mBunscoil finals have concluded in Clarecastle today and there has been double joy for Barefield.
The school’s boys won the Division 2 title with a 5-4 to 2-3 win over Kildysart, and their girls lifted the Division 1B crown, beating Clarecastle 2-6 1-2.
Corofin have won the Boys Division 3 titile, 3-9 to 1-2 against Quin, while Clonmoney have beaten Kilkishen 1-2 to 1-0 in the Division 4 final.
St. Tola’s of Shannon won 3-3 to 2-4 to Carron/Newquay in the Division 5 decider.
Yesterday, four Clare schools were celebrating after wins in their respective finals at Cusack Park.
Ennis National Shool were crowned Girls Division 1 Champions, CBS Ennis the Boy Division 1 champions, while the girls of Tulla and boys of Kilnamona also won their respective deciders.
Tomorrow’s finals have also been moved from Cusack park to Clarecastle.
