Dublin and Kildare through to Leinster semi finals

 

Dublin have beaten laois in the Lenister football championship by 1-16 to 0-11
Laois goalkeeper Eoin Culliton was Laois’ best player in the first half, making several crucial saves.

However Alan Brogan teed up Diarmuid Connolly to put it through Culliton’s legs in the 22nd minute.

They’ll meet Kildare in the Leinster semi-final on the 26th of June.

The Lillywhites overcame Meath by 16 points to 10 earlier, after trailing by 2 points at half time.

Royals substitute Brian Carroll received a straight red card in the 55th minute.

And minutes after coming off the bench, Graham Geraghty had the ball in the Kildare net,

only to see the goal dubiously deemed a square-ball by the umpires.

All-Ireland champions Cork have set up a Munster football championship final against Kerry in emphatic fashion.

They defeated Waterford by 5-18 to 2-8 in their Munster semi-final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

They’ll now face the reigning Munster champions in Killarney on the 3rd of July.

In the Ulster quarter finals Tyrone narrowly defeated a 13-man Monaghan by 1-13 to 1-11 in Healy Park.

Monaghan captain Dick Clerkin was shown a red card after half an hour for an off-the-ball incident, and Dessie Mone was sent off in injury time.
