Fitzgerald expects “battle” in league clash with Antrim

Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald is warning his side to expect a battle this Sunday when they take on Antrim in round two of the national hurling league.

Clare welcome the Ulster outfit to Cusack Park with both sides having enjoyed opening day wins over Limerick and Wexford respectively.

Fitzgerald told Clare FM that  a single point win would make him more than happy :

Sean Collins is the only major doubt for Clare ahead of Sunday’s game after he missed last weekend’s Fitzgibbon cup semi final due to illness.

Its understood if Collins is fit Clare will go with the same starting 15 that lined out against Limerick last month.
