Kidney set to name side for Russia clash early tomorrow

Ireland head coach Declan Kidney will name his team to face Russia in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

The Irish squad will train together in Rotorua again in the morning, after which Kidney will announce his starting line-up.

Tommy Bowe, Gordon D’Arcy and Paul O’Connell are all doubtful through injury, with the likes of Andrew Trimble, Fergus McFadden and Leo Cullen all expected to come into the side.

Meanwhile, the Munster and Connacht teams have been named ahead of tomorrow’s RaboDirect PRO12 fixtures.

Danny Barnes has recovered from injury to regain his place in the Munster centre, while Duncan Williams is named at scrum-half for the trip to Cardiff.

Connacht have made five changes ahead of tomorrow’s visit of the Dragons to the Sportsground.

Ray Ofisa comes in at number eight while Dave Gannon also makes his first start since re-signing for the province.
