Kilkenny and Dublin having only being crowned respective hurling and football All Ireland champions last month tonight sees the draw for the 2012 championship take place
Clare will be hoping for better luck than the 2011 draw which paired the hurlers with Tipperary and and the footballers with Cork.

Elsewhere and Micheal Mc Dermott seems certain to remain on as Clare manager for a third year after no other candidates were put forward to the Clare county board.
Former Kerry manager Mick O Dwyer who was strongly linked with the job earlier this week was not nominated by any club which will see just the Cavan natives name to go before the board next Tuesday at the octobver meeting.
