The Clare county board has confirmed to Clare FM that Michael Mc Dermott has stepped down as Clare senior football manager.

Clare chairman Micheal O Neill has confirmed that following a meeting last night Mc Dermott has indicated he will not be continuing for a fourth term in charge of the county senior side.
O Neill has thanked Mc Dermott for his service over the past three years and the process of finding a new manager is expected to begin towards the end of this month.
