In hurling news and new County U21 hurling joint manager Gerry O Connor says the biggest challenge facing the new management will be getting time and access to players in tandem with the Clare senior set up.
O Connor and Donal Maloney have moved from the Clare minor job to the U21 outfit having claimed two Munster minor titles in a row.
O Connor told Clare fm that working out a schedule for access to players will be key to their success:
Paul Kinerk will once again be part of the backroom team while Eamon Fenessy has decided to remain at minor grade and form a part of the new incoming management team.
Clare play Waterford in their opening Munster u21 championship encounter next summer.
