Tubber’s Derek O’Connor was among the winners at the Irish Horse Racing Awards, which were held at Leopardstown last evening.
O’Connor won the point-to-point award to cap off a splendid 2011.

He lifted the point-to-point Jockey Championship for a record eighth time this summer, while he also won two races at the Cheltenham festival in March.
It’s the fifth time that Derek O’Connor has won the National point-to-point award.
