Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will continue preparations in Dublin this morning ahead of Saturday’s qualifier with Macedonia at the Aviva stadium.
The boss is without Newcastle striker Leon Best who returned to his club with an ankle injury, the 24 year old has scored 6 goals in 10 league games for his club this season.
Sean St Ledger and Damien Duff were both excused from training by the manager yesterday , but both players are still expected to be fit on Saturday.
