Rafa Benitez remains the favourite to takeover at Chelsea following the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo.

Ex Barcelona boss Pepe Guardiola has refused a number of approaches from blues owner Roman Abramovich in recent months and is determined to stay on sabbatical in New York.
Benitez has been quoted today as saying " a lot of people are talking so we will see what happens in the next few days. I am looking for a club that can challenge for trophies and Chelsea is one of these clubs."
